"Starry night" blouse and my blooming yard

A very casual outfit. I call the shirt (Bossini) "starry night" because of its print. Wore it with skinnies (109F) and accessorized with smoky topaz necklace that I bought here in Nepal. Its design is simple yet it looks pretty interesting.

I took these photos up on the roof of our house. So windy and sunny up there. Actually I couldn't take off my sunglasses (River Island ) even for a few minutes, my eyes can't bear such bright sun. Here I tried to make one photo bare-eyed. Yeah...got kind of distorted face as a result...

The view from the roof is really spectacular. If you look closely you can see the snowy peaks of the Himalayas on this photo (just above my head).

It is practically summer here and my yard is in bloom: snapdragons, pansies, petunias.

Now look at these gigantic bees that come with regular visits to my blooming snapdragons. These guys are 3 cm in body length and are rather scary. They are Carpenter bees. Most of the top of the abdomen of carpenter bees is without hairs and is shiny black in color. By contrast, the abdomen of bumblebees is fully clothed with hairs, many of them yellow in color.

Have a nice weekend!
