Little white dress for formal occasions

This is my second "little white dress". This one can be worn for more formal occasions. As yesterday's, for example - we were invited for a formal dinner at the Russian embassy. So I combined the dress with tights and high-heeled shoes. The shoes are very elegant and I like them but the heels are kind of too high, so I wear them only if the distance I have to cover is to the car and back.

I bought this dress (Warehouse) three years ago. Lace has not been yet that much "in" at the time, I bought it just because I liked it.

Sometimes I wear the dress in more casual way, with skinnies or black pants, like on this three-years old photo from London.

Sharing the look with Patti's Visible Monday  link-up party.

It is monsoon now here in Nepal. It rains every day, sometimes heavy, sometimes non-stop for the whole day and night. And then the roads look like this.

And then among this wetness and greyness you see a bright spot - a woman in a beautiful sari with a colourful umbrella in her hands.

Have a nice day!

  1. I can understand why you bought this dress Olga, it is adorable! And it is so versatile. You look fabulous in both styles. How funny I lately found a similar white dress with lace but sleeveless. I will show it soon.
Incredible what the rain does in your city, and life goes on anyway.

  2. White lace is always pretty and yours is that. So versatile, the different ways you have worn it which both look great. Oh my that's a lot of water.

The weather is horrible! I love the sound of rain, but this is much too much. I hope it ends soon. What a mess. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a great day.

What a weather you're experiencing... so much rain and water... Not my favorite type of weather. We will have a rain season in December and January.
You too have a wonderful week!
