Those who's been reading my blog for a while know about my little obsession with cats. And they will understand why I could not resist to buy this white cat-ty skirt (H&M) as soon as I saw it. Outfits in monochromatic black and white are usually not my thing, they seem to be rather boring. But here I am dressed in black and white all over and not feeling wearing something boring at all, thanks to the skirt's print and to the faux fur-balls scarf.
It has been quite cold in London these days but luckily very sunny. So I could really enjoy my walk in Green Park and took some nice photos. The park is a small "island" of piece, beauty and quietness in the middle of Central London.
There are many large trees, cozy corners and curious squirrels on the park's territory. And many birds too. Seems like since my last visit here they have brought more birds as I don't remember seeing any pelicans or so many varieties of waterfowls here before. Or maybe they were just hiding somewhere...I don't know.
What I don't like in late autumn/winter most of all is that it gets dark so early and you have to finish any outdoor activities actually by 5 o'clock: you can't enjoy a walk in the park or go sightseeing as you can't actually see much in the dark. There are still 24 hours in a day but it seems so much less because of this.

Hope you had enjoyed your weekend.
Of course the skirt is made for you. Missing your cats and the little foundling staying at home you should at least be comforted by a cat skirt. Lovely is the look with the black caban jacket and the ponpon scarf.
ReplyDeleteGreen Park seems to be a wonderful place to walk and relax.
I love this outfit! Great black and white mix. The scarf adds so much flair to these pieces. How can you resist the print on this dress, so cute and fun. Beautiful landscape and pictures.

City parks are fabulous places, real havens of peace and natural beauty inthe midst of the urban jungle! Lovely pics of Green Park, I didn't know there were pelicans there either!
ReplyDeleteI don't think your black and white outfit is boring at all. The kitty print and lovely textured scarf add interest and sassiness. The colours of the Virginia creeper in the final photo make a stunning backdrop. xxxx
Oh, this outfit is so you. I like how you've made the black and white contrast work for you in such interesting ways. Thank you for these beautiful photos of your surroundings too!
ReplyDeleteAdorable outfit and lovely photos! I'm planning on wearing a bit of black + white this week, myself. :) T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com

I hear ya, Olga, about finding B&W outfits usually a bit boring. But indeed this one is not boring at all; it's playful and flattering. Love the cats, of course, since I am also a big cat lover;-).
