Stripy open shoulder summer dress
When it's hot outside I prefer to wear dresses instead of pants, and preferably loose dresses for that matter (in spite of them making me look bigger then I am). And this stripy dress from Indian brand Fusion Beats works perfectly for sunny summer days. Besides being of loose silhouette it has open shoulders and nice loose sleeves. The broken line of the hem adds additional interest to the design of the dress. My only complain is fabric. It's not cotton or linen which I would prefer but 100% polyester.

70s vibe outfit
Another autumn look with strong 70s vibe. I have already shown this faux suede fringed vest in my spring posts, worn with a dress and with skinnies that time. Once again I am wearing it over a (different) dress today accompanied with long boots and a hat. Mustard tights and a bag bring some brightness to the outfit.

Zebra print tights
Whenever I decide to wear an outfit in black-and-white I try to add a fun element to it. Makes creating and wearing the look much more interesting. In my today's outfit the fun part is played by zebra print tights. Aren't they cute and don't they spice up the look?

Shorts over tights
I am not a big fan of shorts, I mean "short" shorts. They seem just a bit too frivolous for my taste. Will never wear ones on their own but inspired by one of Curtise's latest posts I decided to try the shorts-over-tights look. And have to say that I liked it and felt quite comfortable and at ease.

Little floral dress
This little dress is among my summer favourites. The floral print just screams "summer!", the loose silhouette and just-above-the knees length prevent fabric sticking to the body and let the light breeze freely ventilate me through. For monsoon with its still high temperatures, no wind and great humidity such a dress is a must-wear.

Black dress look 1: with a crochet top over it
You know that I am not a big fan of wearing black. Anyway, in this post-quake situation, though more than one month has passed, it still doesn't feel right for me to wear something too bright and colourful. And then this basic black dress becomes very helpful. I can add bright and colourful accessories to it and it will not look "too much", neither "too boring". I can wear it with different jackets, shirts, crop tops or cardi, add different shoes and jewelry and the look will be new and fresh every time. I am going to show you a few of these looks. And for the start there is a little bit dressed up variant. Yesterday we went out for lunch, first time after the quake. I am glad that some of my favourite go-out places didn't suffer any or much damage. Baber Mahal is one of such places. So, I used this lunch as a chance to dress up a little.

All black look (with some sparkle)
A rather rare look for me - wearing black all over, literally from toes to head. Such an outfit may make one look mourning, drab, depressive. How to avoid that? Just add some sparkle! In my case today the sparkle comes from the t-shirt, belt and shoes. The kitties print of the t-shirt beside being cute on its own is made from blue and white rhinestones which transforms an ordinary t-shirt into quite a striking piece.

Orange maxi skirt
1 November, late autumn...But though mornings and evenings have become colder it is still summer here. Still I can wear my summer clothes. This maxi skirt in bright orange as well as the linen shoes I bought in Belarus. The skirt is of light cotton and decorated with nice embroidery. The shoes too are very light and comfortable.

Maroon coat and a la 20s hat
I am back in Nepal, returned just two days ago. But on these photos I am still in Belarus. The last week of September the weather turned very cold there but I was glad nevertheless. Because I could finally wear this Monsoon coat I took with me. It is quite light, made of velvety fabric which is so soft and pleasant to touch.

High waist lace skirt and crop top
Seems like summer has come to Kathmandu. It is getting hotter and hotter every day. Last days there was not a single cloud in the sky. One can't go outside without sunglasses (though locals can). Or a wide brimmed hat. It would be even better to wear both. You have already seen this greenish lace skirt here, I wore it then with an embroidered Thai blouse. Today I combined this high waist skirt with a crochet crop top that leaves my midriff open (just a little).

Casual outfit in polka dot
On Saturday we went on picnic organised in honour of upcoming Teej - Nepalese Woman's day. It took place at the Gokarna Forest Resort, the former private Royal hunting grounds of the Kings of Nepal. This unique resort is situated within short distance of Kathmandu but it really feels like a world away: no noise, no pollution, and so much greenery. A nice place to relax from the stress of the city life.

A walk in the forest and red-hot skinnies
As we had to cancel our weekend trip to jungles of Chitwan because of hot weather there we decided not to stay at home on Saturday but to visit another place and we went to Hattiban. It is a hill just 15 km from the Kathmandu. The top of the hill is covered with a forest which reminded me so very much of the forests in Belarus: though not same but very similar- looking trees and same smell of needles in the air. The name of the place literally means "elephant forest" and it is said that in the former times there were many elephants living there. However there is another version that the shape of the hill itself resembles an elephant.

"Zebra skirt" and white parrots
My "very much in trend right now" skirt that I call "zebra skirt". I have had it for some years now and have always liked its pattern. Recently I've found this cute "zebra bag" and these black-and-white sandals to compliment the skirt. I kept this outlook completely monochrome, even my jewelry is in black-and-white.

Outfit post: hatting around
I have always loved hats. In my opinion they make any woman instantly look more interesting, chic and kind of enigmatic. With the help of a hat a woman can create different mood and different image, all she needs to do is to chose the right design of a hat. Romantic, cocettish, extravagant, elegant, careless, serious - you decide what kind of a woman you want to be today.
So far I have not been invited by any royals to one of their receptions ; neither I have visited such events like Ascot or Derby. So, no opportunity yet to wear an unusual kind of a hat which I'd greatly liked to. Have to chose more simple and appropriate designs.
