Pleated cat skirt

white satin pleated cat skirt with white fur jacket

Hello stylish ladies! Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while know that I am a cat woman: I love cats and have always had them around me. At the moment I have three cats living in my house. Besides, I like collecting cat-themed things including clothes. My friends are well aware of this weakness of mine and whenever they see something cat theme interesting they buy it for me. And this skirt I'm showing today is just that case: it was gifted to me. No need to say that I was amazed by it. Prints of different types of cats look really beautiful on the white satin surface of the skirt. I wore it for the first time on Valentine's day but guess what...my husband didn't notice cats at all until I pointed it to him...men...

Cat blouse for a cat woman

cats and stripes long sleeved blouse worn in smart style

I have always loved cats...since my childhood. And I not only love cats, I am sort of obsessed with them if to be honest. I have a collection of cat figurines, I have cat toys, I have cat mugs, I have cat bed sheets and towels...And of course, I have cat print things in my wardrobe. And it is not just one or two items: I've got several t-shirts, a dress, a skirt, sweaters, scarfs and a few blouses. And today I'm wearing yet another new cat print blouse from Zara. What I like about this particular print is that it's not just cats but stripes as well. The blouse is 100% polyester and have a silky feeling, it has buttons on the back and a sash-like belt.

Fun black-and-white

Black and white printed kittens dress

Happy Easter everybody! On such special day one wants to look special. That's why I decided to wear this new dress today. It is very pretty, I love its design and how perfectly it fits me. And there is one more thing that I really, I mean REALLY, love about this dress: what appears to be the houndstooth print is actually cute kittens print, black ones on white background and white ones on black background.

Cat print skirt

Outfit in black and white with kitty print skirt

Another week and another not-so-boring outfit in black-and-white. This time instead of zebra tights  the role of the fun element of the look is played by a kitty print skirt. Being a cat lover I simply couldn't imagine to leave the shop without this skirt, it was love from the first sight.

Shorts over tights

Black shorts over opaque tights, chunky shoes, 70s hat

I am not a big fan of shorts, I mean "short" shorts. They seem just a bit too frivolous for my taste. Will never wear ones on their own but inspired by one of Curtise's latest posts I decided to try the shorts-over-tights look. And have to say that I liked it and felt quite comfortable and at ease.

All black look (with some sparkle)

Rhinestones cats t-shirt and black button down skirt

A rather rare look for me - wearing black all over, literally from toes to head. Such an outfit may make one look mourning, drab, depressive. How to avoid that? Just add some sparkle! In my case today the sparkle comes from the t-shirt, belt and shoes. The kitties print of the t-shirt beside being cute on its own is made from blue and white rhinestones which transforms an ordinary t-shirt into quite a striking piece.

Polka dottish

outfit in polka dots, pencil skirt, t-shirt

A pencil skirt...What can be more classy and elegant? And a polka dot pencil skirt? Here I am wearing one teamed with a polka dot top. All polka dottish today. The polka dots of the skirt are rather small and the print can be seen only from a close distance. And the bigger polka dots of the top contain a surprise. Here, have a closer look

Outfit in navy blue

Autumn...The weather is still nice, the sun is not harsh but warm and caressing and morning air is refreshingly chill. I am still enjoying my time in Belarus. You've already seen me wearing this navy blue maxi skirt many times but the long sleeved Desigual top is new, I bought it in Nepal before going to Belarus, the brand's prices there are three times cheaper.

Orange cats blouse

Orange cats blouse worn with green button down skirt

Recently added one more cat-theme piece of cloth in my collection - this blouse with orange-white-pink-beige cats of different shape all over it. The blouse is actually long sleeved and when I tried it on the length of the sleeves turned out to be too short for me (the usual problem for me here when buying local things because generally Nepali are shorter in height). But this fact couldn't prevent me from buying the blouse. I simply couldn't leave behind such a wonderful print. After all, I can wear the blouse with the sleeves rolled up!
Orange cats blouse

Most of the shops in Kathmandu now have fixed price system (though if you ask for a discount, in many cases you can get 10% off) but while in the shop where I found the blouse I noticed that there were no price tags on the clothes. When I asked the owner why, he said that he remembers the prices by heart. Yeah, right...It just means that he says you the price according to the way you look. And if you are a foreigner then expect that the price would be at least double-high of the original one. Some people here think that if you are a foreigner than you are as rich as a Saudi Prince and they have all the right to charge an exorbitant price from you. So, had to bargain with the guy to lower the price till reasonable level. Both were happy in the end.

Orange bag by Adamis

The bag is also new, its colour matches perfectly with the blouse's orange cats. I like the orange-green combination so I wear the blouse with my green skirt previously shown here worn with a floral print t-shirt.

Cat-woman t-shirt for picnic in the hills

On Monday it was the first day of the new year here and so it was a day off. On this days the Nepalese like to go somewhere up in the hills for a picnic. And so did we. We went to a place called Kakani, it is at a height of 2073 m. The place offers cooler, fresher air and breathtaking views of the Himalayas...when the weather is sunny. Alas, at that day the sky was grey and gloomy and it looked like it was going to rain. So, no breathtaking views of the snowy peaks. Anyway, the place was nice and though the views were not that stunning they were pleasant enough to enjoy them.

A white cat black sweater

Again I am wearing "a cat on my chest", and again I am in black-and-white, except for the hint of red on the kitten's neck and the sweater's sleeves. The sweater was bought in London during my recent stay there. There were plenty of cute sweaters on sale, with deer, snowmen, Santa, Christmas trees, puppies and whatever else on them. But I felt it was all not quite what I wanted. And then finally, I found this black sweater with a white kitty on it that had won my sympathy instantly.

Outfit in not boring black-and-white and a walk in Green Park

Those who's been reading my blog for a while know about my little obsession with cats. And they will understand why I could not resist to buy this white cat-ty skirt (H&M) as soon as I saw it. Outfits in monochromatic black and white are usually not my thing, they seem to be rather boring. But here I am dressed in black and white all over and not feeling wearing something boring at all, thanks to the skirt's print and to the faux fur-balls scarf.

Green-eyed cat t-shirt and my love for cats

Here I am wearing a cat theme t-shirt again. This green-eyed cute "face" just charmed me the moment I saw the t-shirt in the shop. Though the colour of it is not exactly mine I still bought it. So far I've worn this garment two ways: tucked in with the big-pocketed green skirt and loose over the cotton culotte pants.

Black cat t-shirt

This t-shirt I bought in Belarus and yesterday it was first time I wore it. Being a cat lover, of course I couldn't miss this top. They had it in my mom's size as well and I suggested her to buy it too and then one day to go out both wearing the same garment (me and my daughters like doing such thing from time to time, just for fun). But she refused, said "black cat on my bust would be too much for my age and for my size". Maybe she was right but I like it how this black cat looks on my bust :)

One maxi skirt, two outfits

This maxi skirt I bought in Nepal just before leaving for holiday and of course I took it with me. Thanks to its classy design and neutral colour it is very versatile, by combining it with different tops and using different accessories it is possible to create different looks. On this photo I wear it with my peasant blouse that previously I used in the "country girl" outfit and with a corset-like green belt.

Cat theme, in clothes and jewelry

Being a big lover of cats (actually I have five cats living in my house at the moment) I couldn't resist to buy this cat print camisole. That there are cats all over it you can see just from a close distance, otherwise it just looks mottled.
