Vintage vibe modern look gingham dress
I have never been a big fan of checks, especially of gingham checks. Throughout my whole life I remember owning only one gingham dress, and it was in my 20s. It was a bright blue-purple checks dress and I really loved it. Also I remember having a black-and-white checks shirt and... that's it. Not much. But recently I have come upon a gingham dress that totally fall in love with literally from the first sight. And this is the dress I'm showing here today. Look how happy this dress's making me:)

Ethnic printed tunic
Hello everybody! It's been two weeks since my last post...I didn't notice it...how time flies, huh? Is it spring? Or is it age? Frustrating...Anyway, to my today's outfit...all in black-and-white which is not exactly my colour palette but the tunic's print brightens up the whole look. There are several patterns mixed together and the front and back of the tunic are absolutely different. Nevertheless all those prints look harmonious.

Poncho over a layered dress
Another casual look today. A poncho over a layered dress. I have shown this poncho before and that time I wore it over a dress too, that was a knee-length knitted black dress. Today's dress is different: it is cotton, long with two layers and in polka dots. And to tell you honestly I find this variant much more interesting. The poncho creates another layer and its print mixed with those polka dots makes a really attractive combination.

Black and white pattern mixing
Hello from London! I have been here for almost a week now and all this time the weather has been quite disappointing. Though nothing surprising about this but still one always hopes for the best. Hopefully some really summery sunny days are ahead. Considering the weather I had to wear this thick and warm cardigan. To create a nice patttern mixture I combined it with a black and white maxi dress and to make the look even more interesting and stylish I wore white skinnies underneath the dress. Simple yet eye catching look.

Sporty stripes
I don't wear sporty style much, only occasionally, when I am in mood for it. Recently I bought these white converse shoes which I find quite pretty and comfortable. And I like to wear them not with pants but with something more feminine, like dresses or skirts. Today's look is one example of such sporty feminine dressing.

Fun black-and-white
Happy Easter everybody! On such special day one wants to look special. That's why I decided to wear this new dress today. It is very pretty, I love its design and how perfectly it fits me. And there is one more thing that I really, I mean REALLY, love about this dress: what appears to be the houndstooth print is actually cute kittens print, black ones on white background and white ones on black background.

Cat print skirt
Another week and another not-so-boring outfit in black-and-white. This time instead of zebra tights the role of the fun element of the look is played by a kitty print skirt. Being a cat lover I simply couldn't imagine to leave the shop without this skirt, it was love from the first sight.

Zebra print tights
Whenever I decide to wear an outfit in black-and-white I try to add a fun element to it. Makes creating and wearing the look much more interesting. In my today's outfit the fun part is played by zebra print tights. Aren't they cute and don't they spice up the look?

Black and white geometrical print dress
This dress I am wearing here seems to be one of those types that look really nice in reality but...mmm...not so good on photos. I mean look at me...I look one, or maybe even two, sizes bigger than I am. I don't know what is the matter: the pattern, the jersey fabric, the design or maybe combinations of all those. This dress is just not made for photo shoots. Anyway I wanted you to see it, It is light and comfy and I really like the pattern.

Poncho style cardigan
The simplest and most common way to style a poncho cardigan is by wearing it over pants. But today I wanted to look more feminine and so I chose to combine it with a knitted dress instead. The cardigan's print reminds me of winter: besides the obvious deer and snowflakes, the horizontal patterns to me look like those that appear on windows after a frosty night.

"Black-and-white jungle" button down dress
I bought this black button down dress because of its print: simply fall in love with those animals drawn in tribal style. There are variety of them: crocodiles, lions, monkeys, deer, goats. Finally it's getting autumny here too and it's about the time to wear long-sleeved clothes. I decided to be all black-and white and so I teamed the dress with white skinnies and black shoes. The bag too has black-and-white zebra pattern. I wore this ensemble to the last week's International Food Festival. For such a foody like me it is a perfect event to be able to enjoy different countries' cuisine in one place.

Black and white stripes dress
The calendar says it is still summer but the autumn's breath is in the air. It is already too cold for sleeveless maxi dresses or for bare legs. But warm enough for this knitted tunic to wear with skinny jeans. Minimalistic black and white look today. The stripes of different width combined in different directions create an interesting pattern.

Black and white for a formal dinner
Wearing black and white again, for a formal dinner this time. The lace black dress is of a simple silhouette. It is a local designer's creation, I found it in one of the Kathmandu's boutiques. It is sleeveless and as it is winter and the dinner was served outdoor so I had no choice but to wear the dress with this white faux fur cropped jacket. It looks delicate but it is pretty warm.

A white cat black sweater
Again I am wearing "a cat on my chest", and again I am in black-and-white, except for the hint of red on the kitten's neck and the sweater's sleeves. The sweater was bought in London during my recent stay there. There were plenty of cute sweaters on sale, with deer, snowmen, Santa, Christmas trees, puppies and whatever else on them. But I felt it was all not quite what I wanted. And then finally, I found this black sweater with a white kitty on it that had won my sympathy instantly.

Outfit in not boring black-and-white and a walk in Green Park
Those who's been reading my blog for a while know about my little obsession with cats. And they will understand why I could not resist to buy this white cat-ty skirt (H&M) as soon as I saw it. Outfits in monochromatic black and white are usually not my thing, they seem to be rather boring. But here I am dressed in black and white all over and not feeling wearing something boring at all, thanks to the skirt's print and to the faux fur-balls scarf.

Indian style outfit in black and white
Women here don't favour black and white combination in outfits. I suppose they find it pretty boring, especially if going to a party. But I don't. Sometimes I get tired of bright loud colours and want something as simple as black and white. In my opinion, this "boring" combo too can look impressive, beautiful and festive.

Monochromatic casual
I've been busy these days, need to make a new passport and for this I had to go to Minsk, the capital of Belarus. For my short trip I wore this casual outfit in black and white: skinnies, a white cotton blouse and a linen jacket.

"Zebra skirt" and white parrots
My "very much in trend right now" skirt that I call "zebra skirt". I have had it for some years now and have always liked its pattern. Recently I've found this cute "zebra bag" and these black-and-white sandals to compliment the skirt. I kept this outlook completely monochrome, even my jewelry is in black-and-white.
