I bought this satin maxi skirt some time ago but had not had a chance to take it for an outing until yesterday. There are usually not many events during monsoon here, don't know why, but it is always like this during the rainy season - a kind of lull. So when I was invited for a semi formal dinner the other day I instantly remembered about this skirt and thought that its time had come finally.
The skirt is rather grand on its own so I decided to pair it with a simpler top. Though it is not completely simple thanks to a chiffon flowery detail that decorates its neckline and thus supports the floral theme of the skirt.
From jewelry I wore a Swarovski crystals brooch in the shape of a peacock feather and a large cocktail ring.
Floral theme small clutch completed the look

That skirt is art, so gorgeous and balanced in style and pattern. Such a find! And paired so well with the pretty clutch and shoes. The top is perfect with it as well and you look amazing in it! It makes your wonderful curves really pop and gives them an incredible softness at the same time. Proved very exciting for me, dear :) Lovely, sweet lady!!
ReplyDeleteThat satin maxi skirt is really a treasure. I like how you paired it with a white top...I think blue top would also be a lovely choice...and who knows maybe some day you will pair it with a top in some bold colour...but back to this look. I really like the details on this white top and the brooch is so beautiful and it matches wonderfully with that ring. Such a feminine and sophisticated outfit with a touch of glam! I really like it and I must say you look absolutely divine.
ReplyDeleteThat floral maxi skirt is beyond stunning. I also love the floral clutch. I love that you repeated the floral pattern with the shoes. One of your very best looks ever, Olga. WOW!!

ReplyDeleteOn a dead run and playing catchup ... DARK FLORALS!!! Perfect. Great combination. All inspired to go find some and mix 'um up like you did!
ReplyDeleteWoah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's difficult to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say that you've done a great job with this. Also, the blog loads very quick for me on Opera. Excellent Blog!
