Yet another Indian outfit in my wardrobe. The dress is of simple design and of simple fabric (cotton) and it is black, not the most cheerful colour. But look at this amazing embroidery in which threads of different colours are used. Actually this embroidery is the main reason I bought the dress. It gives life to otherwise gloomy and boring black.
The dress goes in set with red pants (churidar ) and a black-and-red scarf.
My silver meenakari pendant happened to be in same colours as the dress's embroidery
Hope you're enjoying your day!

The floral embroideries are marvellous and you look absolutly fabulous in this dress. Lovely as well is your cute necklace. Floral and graphic design as if it is especially made to be worn with this dress.

ReplyDeleteOh! Your necklace is so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI do not think of black in these cases as sombre, but rather as the best backdrop against which to display such finery. This dress is so perfect and lovely on you.
