Green and yellow

Christmas is just around the corner but I don't have any "special edition" Christmasy post on the way. The tree and the house are decorated and my Christmas Eve outfit is ready but I just not in the mood to make all these be photographed. It is so cold in the house at the moment (just 10C degrees) that it has a lazying effect on me. These days it is really much warmer outside (15C) then inside the house (at least it is during day time). I have to put more layers of clothes while I am at home then when I go out. Ha-ha, the reality of life in Nepal.

Shorts over tights

I am not a big fan of shorts, I mean "short" shorts. They seem just a bit too frivolous for my taste. Will never wear ones on their own but inspired by one of Curtise's latest posts I decided to try the shorts-over-tights look. And have to say that I liked it and felt quite comfortable and at ease.

Long fringed vest styled two ways

This long fringed vest is one of my recent "trendy" purchases and I bought it having in mind particularly this earthy brown dress. I have owned the dress for some time and started to get a little bored to wear it on its own. What I wanted was a new piece of clothing that could be added to it to create a different look. And when I saw the vest I knew that was it. It is made of soft velvety fabric that looks and feels like suede. I like the ornamental detail in a contrasting colour too.
