I didn't plan to do any Valentine's outfit post but then...I liked the way I looked and so, I changed my mind, haha...And here it is what I wore yesterday for a dinner out with my husband. I don't dress in red on this day for the simple reason that it is what I am supposed to do. Like, red is a colour of love and passion and so it is a good idea to wear red or pink on the official day of love and romance. But I don't think it is just enough reason to limit myself with what I can wear. So, here I am wearing dark blue instead of red.
I did add a few red elements into the look though: shoes, clutch, nail polish and lipstick. Another colour that I incorporated in the outfit is cobalt blue: belt, earrings, pashmina shawl and bangles.
The dress is from velvet, this fabric is nice to touch and to look at but it makes you appear slightly fuller than you are. Still I love it. Additionally the dress is embellished with large rhinestones.
