I have never been a big fan of checks, especially of gingham checks. Throughout my whole life I remember owning only one gingham dress, and it was in my 20s. It was a bright blue-purple checks dress and I really loved it. Also I remember having a black-and-white checks shirt and... that's it. Not much. But recently I have come upon a gingham dress that totally fall in love with literally from the first sight. And this is the dress I'm showing here today. Look how happy this dress's making me:)
The dress has a vintage vibe about it but the broken hem line is definitely a modern touch. But the neckline and the collar, as well as the sleeves's detail, are the things that, in my opinion, make this dress so special and pretty. I simply love the look of them.
To accessorize the dress I wore just a black-and-white glass beads necklace and checks earrings plus shoes, a belt and a bag in black. Not a single drop of another colour, only black and white. So very "not me" but in this case I love the look.
