Trends come and go but sailor inspired look has been around forever and it never goes out of fashion. This navy-and-white stripes top is the key piece in my today's nautical outfit. I paired it with a navy-blue maxi skirt which in my opinion makes the look even more sailory.
To continue the sea theme of the outfit I wear this little crab pendant. I bought it in Camden. What else is cute about the crab that all its legs and claws are movable.
The bag is decorated with bright embroidery. I don't know, perhaps these are the flowers of the garden of paradise but for me, the pattern has always been associated with undersea world instead - all those colourful corals, tropical fish and creatures.
Surprisingly it is still not warm enough here to go bare-armed. But my yard is in full spring bloom right now.

Have a nice day everybody!
Cuuuuute! You are the cutest sailor out there! And the moving crab - oh that's just adoooorable! :)
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous look, Olga, and I love how the bright colours on your beautiful bag match the pretty Spring flowers in the photos! What a wonderful skirt, and the little crab is adorable (as a Cancerian, I have a special fondness for them!) xxxx
ReplyDeleteDear Olga,
ReplyDeleteI love the splendor of your garden as well as the one on your beautiful bag. It is so nice to see that summer is coming soon in your part of the world. And you found the perfect outfit for inviting summer to come. It reminds of vacations at the sea and strolls on long beaches.
You look great in the maxi skirt and the striped tee and the crab pendent is a lovely addition.
Have a fine Sunday my dear!

Every detail of your outfit and setting is so delightful! I like how you have adapted the nautical theme in a less girly, exaggerated way than is often seen. Happy Spring to you!

Love the outfit! The pendant is just adorable. Moving legs...? That's unusual, but it adds extra fun to the piece. The bag is just gorgeous -- all the embroidery -- love it!

So far this is my most favorite style of you! It's simple and feminine. I love the fun color embroidery bag! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy spring to you Olga. I love your stripes shirt and the maxi skirt paired together :)
By now, I'm convinced that all the iterations of the Breton boat-neck are modern classics, and will be fresh looking for a while ahead. In navy, they're even more perfect! Very pretty look ( such a great color on a red-head!) and much to love about your choices. You really picked the perfect little bag to make this outfit complete!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Olga. Glad to see you looking so pretty and well!
lovely color bag :D
