Spring is in the air! No need for tights any more, well, maybe in the evenings only. I am in a springy mood too and that's why I am wearing these two colourы together today. Lilac and yellow both associate with spring for me: yellow, obviously, for the sun and lilac for the flowers of Syringa vulgaris, or Lilac. There is no Lilacs here in Nepal and I miss their gentle beauty and intoxicating fragrance.
The sweater is cotton, an ideal choice for warm spring days. I liked not only its colour but knitting style too. The blue flats are new, I find them very comfy and quite pretty. To tie up the blue and the lilac I added a multi-stone necklace that contains stones in both these colours: there are blue lapis lazuli and lilac amethyst beads. The ring is in the shape of an orchid, I found it in Singapore's Gardens by the Bay. There were many rings in the orchid shape but only one in this charming lilac colour. It had to be mine.
